The Grant County Health Dept. has NO confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Grant County, IN at this time.
The Grant County Commissioners with the support of the Grant County Health Dept. and other supporting agencies have signed an EXCUTIVE ORDER declaring a local disaster and/or public health emergency.
Additionally, the Commissioners elevated the travel status in Grant County to ORANGE which limits travel on Grant County roads to only essential travel such as to and from work, grocery, medical treatment or supplies, emergency situation and other essential services until further notice.
The Indiana State Dept. of Health (ISDH) has identified 56 total presumptive positive case of COVID-19 in the state and 2 deaths due to COVID-19 and 380 test since Friday, March 6.
The Grant County Health Dept. will continue to monitor in order to maintain situational awarness and supoort Marion General Hospital.
