Good afternoon,
 
Effective immediately due to the evolving situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) in addition to the school closures, all meetings, programs, activities, and special events in Town buildings are cancelled, except for essential meetings of Town of Wrentham Boards and Committees. All Town of Wrentham Boards/ Committees/Commissions must receive approval from the Town Administrator before scheduling and holding meetings.
 
All non-essential meetings of Boards/Committees/Commissions have been cancelled until further notice. This includes previously posted meetings of Open Space, EDC, Historical Commission and COA.
 
The following Town buildings and programs are impacted:

• As of this email Town Hall will be open for regular business, but residents are asked to only come in if necessary. Many of our services can be provided over the phone or via the Town website. Residents who are unsure whether they need to come in to conduct business are asked to call ahead first. We are preparing for the potential of a Town Hall closure to the public and/or full closure as needed.
• The Wrentham Senior Center will be closed to the public on Monday, March 16, 2020 and will remain closed until further notice. Council on Aging staff are working and available by phone and e-mail for assistance.
• The Fiske Public Library will be closed to the public on Monday, March 16, 2020 and will remain closed until further notice. Library staff are working and available by phone and e-mail for assistance.
• All Wrentham Recreation programs are cancelled effective immediately and until further notice.

Public Safety operations will remain open to respond to public safety related matters as they arise. The Regional emergency dispatch (MECC) has included enhanced screenings to further diagnose any calls with infectious diseases.
 
The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve and additional closings may be necessary. We thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time for our community.
