Tazewell County Health Department Addresses Worship Attendance Recommendation.

In accordance with Governor Pritzker’s recent order, at this time there temporarily will be no large gatherings over 250 people. Places of worship have been asking for guidance. Due to the increased activity of Corornavirus (COVID-19) in the Tri-County area, the local health departments (Peoria City/County Health Department, Tazewell County Health Department and Woodford County Health Department) are advising the use of teleservices or other social media where possible.
Worship leaders are a key partner in helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Parishioners in the high-risk population of 60+ years OR with chronic health conditions should:
• Stay home as much as possible.
• Stay approximately 6 feet from others
• Avoid ill people
• If you are ill with fever, cough, or shortness of breath, contact your healthcare providers. And STAY HOME.

“Every action we take saves lives,” stated Governor Pritzker.

Instructions:

choose to stay home or see if your place of worship offers tele-service or alternative ways to worship.
