***WWPD 3-14-2020 Message From Chief Garofalo to our Community***.--Lt. Lee
As always, the WWPD is here 24/7/365. During this challenging time please be aware of those who suffer from Mental Illness and the possible effects our current situation could have on those most vulnerable.
The WWPD has been and always will be resilient thru any crisis that we face together. As with any possible threat to our community, we stand in front of you. Chief Garofalo is keenly aware of the busy supermarkets and asks for patience. He wanted to thank those who are working at those locations and those along the supply lines doing their very best to make sure you have the essentials for you and your families.
We have been in extensive meetings with our partners at the West Windsor Township Administration, the WW Health Department, and the WW Department of Fire &Emergency Services. We have taken steps to protect our staff while offering the same high level of professionalism as we have for over 50 years.
In addition, we are in lock step with WW-P Superintendent Dr. Aderhold, , Chief Tavener & the Plainsboro Township PD as the Virtual Classrooms begin on Monday March 16, 2020. We are working together seamlessly and with open dialogue.
Lastly, Chief Garofalo wanted to assure everyone that we will always be there for our entire community.--Lt. Lee
