The Town of Yorktown State of Emergency declaration DOES NOT restrict public access to roadways.  This local state of emergency, as stated in the prior message, is a proactive tool for town government in times of disease outbreak.  Go about your daily life as "normal" as is allowable during this COVID-19 pandemic.  This declaration will align with New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo's stated "Density Rules," which limit capacity of venues in New York State.  As of 5pm today, public gatherings of more than 500 people will be banned.  There is also a half capacity rule for bars and restaurants.
