March 3rd

Residential Burglary / Stolen Vehicle – 2300 block of Key Blvd:
An unknown suspect entered a home and stole items from inside to include car keys for a car parked in the driveway. The suspect took the vehicle and fled the area. An officer located the stolen vehicle parked unoccupied in a parking lot several blocks away.

Residential Burglary – 800 block of Arlington Blvd:
An officer went to the report that someone had broken into the home sometime in the morning and stole items from inside.

Public Intoxication – 11965 San Pablo Avenue:
Officers conducted a security check of the vacant lot and found four heavily intoxicated subjects. The four subjects were all placed under arrest, booked at the ECPD, and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Grand Theft – Manila Street at Liberty Street:
An officer went to the report that the victim's catalytic converter was stolen from their vehicle.

March 4th

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 400 block of Bonnie Drive:
An officer recovered a stolen vehicle which was left parked and running.

DUI – San Pablo Ave / Portola Dr:
An officer arrested a 30-year-old man after he was found to be impaired by alcohol while operating a motor vehicle. The man was later released from the police department with a citation.

March 5th

Stolen Vehicle – 11450 San Pablo Avenue:
An officer went to the report where the victim left his friend in his car while he went into Safeway. The friend drove off with the vehicle and was later arrested in Antioch.

Commercial Burglary - 10900 block of San Pablo Avenue:
An officer went to the report that someone entered a construction site overnight and stole tools.

Shoplifting – 11319 San Pablo Avenue (Chevron):
An officer reports a subject entered the business and selected numerous food items before fleeing.

DUI – San Pablo Ave / Wall Ave:
An officer arrested a 22-year-old man after he was found to be impaired by alcohol while operating a motor vehicle. The man was later released from the police department with a citation.

March 6th

Auto Burglary - 11265 San Pablo Ave:

At 12:06 pm, an officer was flagged down about an auto burglary. A witnessed reported three subjects in a green Mini Cooper broke the window of a vehicle and stole a backpack.

Auto Burglary - 210 EC Plaza:
At 12:32 pm, an officer responded to the report of an auto burglary. At the same time, a witness called to report three males in their 20’s, breaking into several vehicles. They fled in a green Mini Cooper.

Commercial Burglary – 11900 block of San Pablo Avenue:
At 9:29 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect pried open a newspaper stand in front of a business and stole coins.

Parole Violation and Possession of a Controlled Substance – San Pablo Ave and Stockton Ave:
At 5:08 am, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 26-year-old male for a parole violation warrant. The male was also in possession of a controlled substance.

March 7th

Residential Burglary – 1000 block of Arlington Blvd.
At 4:34 pm, officers responded to the report of a suspect throwing a large river rock through a porch window of the house. The homeowner screamed, scaring the suspect off.

Grand Theft – Wall Avenue and Kearney Street:
At 9:00 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and stole a wallet containing cash and credit cards. The victim’s credit cards were used at several nearby businesses.

March 8th

Public Nuisance - Walgreens, 11565 San Pablo Ave:
At 8:52 am, an officer observed a 34-year-old Richmond man holding a bottle of alcohol in one hand and defecating on the sidewalk in front of Walgreens. He was issued a field citation for causing a public nuisance.

Residential Burglary – 900 block of Arlington Blvd. At 3:08 pm, officers responded to the report of a residential burglary. In between 5:46 pm yesterday and 3:08 pm today, an unknown subject threw a rock through the garage door window. The suspect then entered the garage. There was no apparent loss.

Grand Theft - 700 block of Ashbury St:
At 3:41 pm, an officer responded to the report of a stolen catalytic converter. In between 12:30 am on 03/07/2020 and 9:30 am on 03/08/2020, an unknown suspect removed the catalytic converter from a 2007 Toyota Prius.
