Well, this is going to be a mess for a while...PLEASE AVOID THE AREA.
This afternoon a motorist was attempting to make a turn from eastbound Travis Blvd onto Northbound Pennsylvania Ave and rolled his trailer onto its side. As you can see from the photos it will be an extended period of time before this is cleaned up. The best time estimate is several hours.
Luckily no one was hurt! The Traffic Unit will be investigating the cause of the roll over and working with Public Works to get the roadway cleared. While the investigation is not completed at this time, this is probably a good reminder of why you should slow down when making turns at an intersection.
