DETAILS: Ptl. Erkoboni was detailed to the Target store for a shoplifter being detained by Assets Protection. Investigation determined that Morgan Kley selected numerous items from the cosmetics aisle and concealed them into a black tote that she was carrying. She then attempted to leave the store without paying. Kley was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at Mercer County Superior Court.

Investigation determined that while Karolen Saad was walking through the aisles, she would select merchandise, remove it from its packaging and then conceal it into her pockets. She also took a belt, removed its tag, and put it around her waist. Saad was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

Byrd III began walking away and dropped a clear plastic bag containing marijuana onto the ground. Byrd was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. Zicha initiated a stop on a silver Chevrolet SUV after observing it slamming on its brakes for no apparent reason on two separate occasions, and for having a taillight that was not working. During the stop, Ashley Perez was found to be in possession of one bundle and a deck of heroin that were stamped “TRUMP”, and in possession of a stolen credit card and stolen driver license. Katherine Montenegro was found in possession of a package of THC oil and a stolen credit card. The owner of the credit cards and driver license was determined to have had her wallet stolen from her purse the night before while at a bar in Lawrence Township. Her purse had been hanging on the back of her chair when her wallet was stolen. Both Perez and Montenegro were processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future dates at Mercer County Superior Court.

Prior to patrol arriving on scene, Walter Calix had already fled from the store, but was located by Ptl. Cuomo behind Sam’s Club. Calix was found to have two (2) warrants for his arrest from Trenton, and one (1) from Lawrence Township. Calix was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future Court dates in Lawrence and Trenton.
