The City of La Quinta is closely monitoring updates from Riverside County Public Health and Emergency Management Departments along with information from state and federal health officials to assess health impacts from Coronavirus (COVID-19).

As of March 5, 2020 there are zero positive cases in La Quinta or Riverside County.  There also has not been any order from the health department to cancel any events or gatherings in the County.

Protect yourself and your family by washing hands with soap and water, avoid close contact with people who are sick avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands and stay away from work, school and others if you are sick.  Preparing also means having an emergency kit ready with personalized basic essentials.
