Flash Flood Watch until 12:00PM
The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for
* A portion of south central Alabama, including the following areas, Butler, Covington, Crenshaw, and Wilcox.
* Until noon CST today
* More rounds of moderate to locally heavy rain will move across the area through this morning. Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts 2 to 3 inches will be possible this morning.
* Soils remain saturated in the Flash Flood Watch area. Heavy rainfall rates in a short period of time over the same area can set up an increased chance for flooding. Additional river rises may also worsen lingering ongoing river flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: COVINGTON ... CRENSHAW ... WILCOX ... BUTLER
Instructions:
