EAST CHICAGO WATER DEPARTMENT - RESIDENT/BUSINESS NOTICE
LOCATION: CARROLL STREET (ROXANNA AREAS)
The City of East Chicago Water Department will be performing work in the location referenced above on Thursday, February 27, 2020, relating to the replacement of a fire hydrant fixture. Residents in the vicinity will have an interruption of water service between the hours of 9 am and 5pm as a result of the installation. Also, roadways in the vicinity may be closed to vehicular traffic as a result. If you experience an interruption of water service, the service will return upon completion of the work which is expected on the same date. If you experience discoloration in your water, clear the pipes in your home/business by running all water faucets for a few minutes; or if you experience low water pressure or volume seems low, please check your faucets and washer screens for trapped debris.
