Effective March 1, 2020 the sanitation service contract for the City of Fairfield will change from Republic Services to Sunrise Sanitation, Inc.

Please follow the process below to ensure a smooth transition:

Trash pickup for the week of February 24, 2020 - All Republic Services totes (blue) are to be placed for pickup the same day as your regular trash pickup day. Republic will empty your trash then another Republic Service truck will follow to pick up the totes. Please leave totes roadside for pickup.

The new service, Sunrise Sanitation, Inc. will be distributing their totes possibly starting late this week and working until distribution is complete. The new totes are navy blue with a black lid. One tote will be distributed per household. An extra tote is available for $5.00/month. Details of Sunrises'
processes and a route map will be included inside the new tote.

Please help spread the word with friends, family, and neighbors who may not pay particular attention to or have access to media. Post shares would also be appreciated.
