While conducting proactive patrol deputies arrested two Covina residents for possession of narcotics

LOCATION: 13900 block of City Center Drive, Chino Hills
SUSPECT(S): Erika Lopez, 19 years old, resident of Covina
Mark Saeed, 20 years old, resident of Covina
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 11:30 P.M., Chino Hills deputies conducted proactive patrol and observed a vehicle on the upper level of a parking structure. One of the occupants, Mark Saeed, was found to be on probation for narcotics violations in Los Angeles County. Inside the vehicle, several bags of marijuana, methamphetamine, multiple prescription medications not belonging to the occupants, and an open container of alcohol and pepper spray were found.
The driver, Erika Lopez, was arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center for possession of a controlled substance. Saeed was booked for possession of a controlled substance and under the influence of a controlled substance. Both were later released with citations.
