...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THIS MORNING THROUGH LATE TONIGHT... The National Weather Service in Jackson has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of northeast Louisiana and Mississippi, including the following areas in northeast Louisiana, East Carroll and Madison LA. In Mississippi, Carroll, Choctaw, Clay, Humphreys, Issaquena, Lauderdale, Lowndes, Montgomery, Oktibbeha, Sharkey and Webster.

* From 6 AM CST this morning through late tonight

* Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts in a short amount of time is likely.

* Ongoing river flooding may be worsened.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CHOCTAW ... CLAY ... EAST CARROLL ... OKTIBBEHA ... MONTGOMERY ... CARROLL ... WEBSTER ... ISSAQUENA ... LOWNDES ... LAUDERDALE ... HUMPHREYS ... MADISON ... SHARKEY
