On 02 14 2020 at 10:13 am a motor vehicle struck Building 8 of Joyner Court  located within Lawrence Square Village. The vehicle damaged the gas meter causing a gas leak within building 8 of Lawrence Square Village. All residents of building 8 were evacuated and no injuries were reported as a result of the motor vehicle crash. The residents occupying the surrounding buildings on Joyner Court were advised to shelter in place and have not been evacuated at this time. PSE&G is on scene and actively working on fixing the gas leak. Lawrence Township Police Department and Lawrence Township Fire Department and Emergency Services are on scene assisting with the incident.  As a result of the motor vehicle crash and gas leak Lawrence Square Blvd  is currently closed in the vicinity of Joyner Court.
