Full Notification

This morning at approximately 10:00 a.m., a tree fell into power lines in the area of 327 Summit Drive in Corte Madera. Due to high wind gusts, the Central Marin Fire and Police immediately responded to the area along with PG&E and power was shut off. Repair work has begun to remove the tree and repair the power line. This work is expected to last until this evening and power will be restored once the repairs have been completed. Due to the gusty wind conditions in the area with large Redwood trees, other power lines will be inspected for damage prior to power being restored. The affected areas are portions of Summit Drive, Redwood Ave, Sunrise Lane and Marina Vista Ave in Corte Madera.
