WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 6 PM EST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of upstate South Carolina, northeast Georgia
and piedmont and western North Carolina.
* WHEN...From 3 AM to 6 PM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Trees
and limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wet soils from recent heavy rainfall may
result in weakened root systems, causing more trees to fall from
lower than usual wind speeds.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
