Synopsis: An 80 year old male was driving a 2015 Toyota Prius westbound through the parking lot of the Home Depot. A 57 year old male was traversing on the sidewalk adjacent to the Home Depot. For undetermined reasons, the 57 year old male walked into the path of the Toyota Prius. The 57 year old male impacted the windshield of the Prius. The 57 year old was transported to the hospital by medics, where he is currently intubated and has internal bleeding. His injuries are considered life threatening. There was no evidence of impairment by either party . SDPD's Traffic Division responded and are investigating the collision.
