...Accumulating Snow and Ice Wednesday Afternoon into Thursday... .Snow will overspread much of central Illinois Wednesday afternoon, with a mix of sleet and freezing rain south of a Shelbyville to Danville line. Precipitation will continue Wednesday night and into Thursday, with snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches for much of central Illinois, with isolated 5 inch amounts near the Illiois River Valley. The wintry mix will keep snow totals under 2 inches south of a Shelbyville to Danville line, with ice accumulations possibly over one tenth of an inch near the I-70 corridor.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of less than 2 inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch.
