911 call leads to arrest of Somerville man on battery charges. 
On February 1, 2020, at 12:44 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a disturbance in the 10000 block of East Illinois Street in Somerville, Indiana. Upon arriving in the area Deputy Michael Rose spoke with all parties at the residence and began an investigation into the incident. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Rose placed 43-year-old David Passwaiter of Somerville into custody. At the conclusion of Deputy Rose’s investigation Mr. Passwaiter was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with two counts of battery. He remains in custody on a $750 bond.
Assisting Deputy Rose in his investigation was Sergeant John Fischer and Deputy Brian Naas.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
