800 block Hilldale Avenue
01/20/2020 @ 1745-2150. An unknown suspect smashed a glass door to gain entry and ransacked the interior. A PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and speaker were taken from the living room. #00388
 
January 21st
Other Burglary
300 block Westbourne Drive
01/21/2020 – 01/24/2020. An unknown suspect forced the rear door open to gain access to the empty residence. The suspect ransacked the interior and appeared to live in the residence for a short time. #00472
 
January 22nd

8400 block W Sunset Blvd
01/22/2020 @ 0203. An unknown suspect removed a backpack that was left unattended outside of the hotel. The backpack contained a Rolex watch, medication, phone charger, and Apple watch bands. #00437

01/26/2020 @ 1308. A man used an unlocked door to gain entry to the garage and began to place items into a bag. A resident interrupted the suspect and caused him to flee from the area without taking anything. #00491

01/26/2020 @ 1600-1730. An unknown suspect used an unlocked front window to gain access and removed a backpack, cell phone, sunglasses, and cologne from the interior. #00488
 
Armed Robbery
900 block N Spaulding Avenue
01/26/2020 @ 1345. A woman was talking on her cell phone and walking EB on the N sidewalk of Spaulding Avenue when she was hit on the back of her head with a hard object. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect pulled the victims purse from her shoulder and fled the area on foot. #00485
