You are invited to participate in the 16th annual Fishing Derby benefitting the Kern County Sheriff’s Activities League.
There is fun for all with fishing, a raffle, prizes, trophies and face painting. You could win $200 cash for catching the tagged fish.
The derby is held at the Park at Riverwalk on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Check-in time is at 6 a.m. Admission is $8 for 17 and under and $15 for adults.
Participants must bring their own fishing gear. Ages 16+ must have a valid California fishing license. Also, no artificial lures are allowed.
