Today, January 27, 2020, the Isabella Dam was shut down for maintenance. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue wanted to use the opportunity of the lower water levels to continue the search for the 11-year-old girl who went missing in the river on June 22, 2019.
During the search Monday, the body of an adult man was located in the Keysville area.
The Coroner’s Office will determine his identity and cause of death.
Search and Rescue will return to the search on Friday when water levels again will be lower.
