Janesville Police Announce Settlement Agreement with Back Bar LLC 
The City of Janesville and the Back Bar LLC have signed a settlement agreement regarding the events that occurred at or near the Back Bar early Saturday morning, November 23, 2019. The agreement includes a 30 day suspension of their liquor license and a number of operational rules.
This agreement meets the needs of the city with respect to community safety and orderly operations of the bar. Further, this sanction can be the basis of a future suspension or revocation if warranted. This agreement resolves this matter and there will be no need for a hearing before the Janesville City Council.
