The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 1 PM CST this afternoon.

* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less in dense fog mainly this morning.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility and locally slick roads where temperatures are near freezing.

* AFFECTED AREAS: KANKAKEE ... IROQUOIS ... LIVINGSTON ... FORD

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
