On Thursday January 23, officers with the California City Police Department, in conjunction with members of the Kern County Sheriff's Department, learned the whereabouts of Roque Larios who was wanted for his involvement in an attempted murder which occurred in California City. Larios was located at a residence in Rosamond and was arrested after the service of a search warrant. He was transported back to California City and later to the Kern County Jail where he is currently housed. The California City Police Department would like to extend our thanks to the public, the Kern County Sheriff's Department, and the California Highway Patrol for assisting us in the apprehension of Larios.
