The Shorewood PD is investigating a possible attempted assault of a person which occurred on the 3500 blk. of N Maryland Ave at approximately 2:15 pm on today's date.
A female victim reports that as she walked southbound on the west side of Maryland, she was suddenly grabbed around the waist from behind by an unknown male. The victim screamed and the male released her.
The suspect was described as being a white male, between 20-40 years of age and was wearing a black jacket and black running shoes.
