Eastbound San Antonio Road is closed between Leghorn Street and East Charleston Road. Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred at around 3 a.m. in the 700 block of San Antonio Road in the parking lot of a business. We will have more information as it becomes available.
The shooting victim is an adult male. He was transported by medics to a local hospital. No suspect(s) are in custody, but detectives are actively investigating. One eastbound lane of San Antonio Road is back open as of 7:18 a.m. The other eastbound lane remains closed as detectives collect evidence. The victim suffered one gunshot wound to the abdomen and is in intensive care.
