UPDATE: One eastbound lane of San Antonio Road is back open as of 7:18 a.m. The other eastbound lane remains closed as detectives collect evidence. The shooting victim is an adult male. He was transported by medics to a local hospital. No suspect(s) are in custody, but detectives are actively investigating. The victim suffered one gunshot wound to the abdomen and is in intensive care.

Eastbound San Antonio Road is closed between Leghorn Street and East Charleston Road. Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred at around 3 a.m. in the 700 block of San Antonio Road in the parking lot of a business. We will have more information as it becomes available.
