Clinton St., between Prospect St. and Atno Ave., will be closed tomorrow between 9 am and 4 pm for a water utility connection. Due to the placement of the utilities in the roadway, vehicle traffic on this section of Clinton St. will not be able to safely pass the construction. As a result, traffic from Clinton Pl. will be detoured onto Prospect St., to Early St., to Atno Ave. between the hours of 9 am and approximately 4 pm. Should you reside within the closed portion of Clinton St., uniformed officers will be assigned to the construction project to facilitate ingress and egress against the normal flow of traffic. The Morris School District Transportation office has been advised of the project and has made adjustments to bus stops/bus routes in and around the area. This project is only expected to disrupt traffic on Wednesday, 01/22, during the mentioned time frame. We appreciate your cooperation.
