Police Seek the Public's Help in Identifying Robbery Suspects
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below pictured males wanted for questioning in a robbery that occurred on Saturday, January 4, 2020.
A victim was assaulted and robbed in the area of 299 New York Avenue, Newark by two males that exited an unidentified vehicle. One suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, wearing a light colored shirt with a dark colored stripe across the chest. A description of the second suspect is not available at this time other than the images depicted below.
Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about these suspects to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
