On January 14, 2020, at 10:28 a.m., the Kern County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3700 block of Brave Avenue for a death investigation.
The initial call for service was for an infant not breathing.
Medical personnel and fire rendered medical aide, but the nine-month-old child was pronounced deceased at the residence.
Based on the age of the child, detectives were called to investigate. The Coroner’s Office will release the cause and manner of death.
