Police seek the public's help in identifying shooting suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the below pictured male suspect wanted for questioning in a shooting that occurred on Sunday, January 12, 2020.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., police responded to 70 Crawford Street on a call of shots fired. A male fired a handgun at another man following a quarrel. No injuries have been reported, but police located a parked vehicle that was damaged by gunfire following this incident. The suspect fled in a gray Dodge Stratus bearing a temporary license plate. The suspect vehicle has heavy damage to the front bumper, driver’s side rear door and passenger side.
Detectives investigating this incident obtained a photo of the suspect via his Instagram account, bearing the label “humbletilldeath_”. We seek the public’s help in quickly identifying this suspect as part of this investigation.
