The Kern County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Activities League will be holding a free boxing event in Bakersfield.
There will be 16 bouts with youth boxers from the Bakersfield and Wasco Sheriff’s Activities Leagues, with Bakersfield Police Activities League and youth gyms also invited to participate.
Besides supporting the youth as they enter the ring, there will also be a $5 taco plate and a 50/50 raffle.
The event is free and we hope to see lots of people come support our young people. In 2019, SAL held several popular boxing events.
