Police Seek the Public's Help in Identifying Burglary Suspect

Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below pictured male suspect in connection with a burglary that occurred on Friday, January 10, 2020.

Shortly before 9 a.m., a man entered a residence in the 100 block of Delancey Street and stole cash and personal property. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweater with the insignia “True Fight” on the its chest area.

Detectives investigating this incident obtained surveillance footage of the suspect and seek the public’s help in quickly identifying him as part of this investigation.

Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about this suspect to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
