Sunset Blvd. Closure Today 
Sunset Boulevard at The Cove will be closed to ALL VEHICLE traffic beginning at 1 pm today (Sunday, January 12, 2020) due to high tide and heavy surf conditions. The closure is expected to last for 2-3 hours.
The Seaside Police and Fire Departments are reminding citizens to use extreme caution when visiting the ocean shores in our area to keep your distance. Never turn your back on the ocean, do not stand on rocks or logs, beware of sneaker waves and if you want to storm watch, consider locations like the Seaside Promenade to do so.
