Police Seek the Public's Help Identifying Package Theft Suspect 
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the below pictured female in connection with a package theft that occurred on Monday, January 6, 2020.
Shortly before 1 p.m., a female removed a delivered package from a residential building at 161 Sunset Avenue. The suspect is described as having a thin build and wearing a gray hooded shirt with a black jacket over it, along with khaki pants and black boots.
Detectives investigating this theft obtained video footage of the suspect and are seeking the public’s assistance as part of this investigation.
Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about this suspect to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
