SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Wintry mixed precipitation is expected. Total snow
accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of
around a quarter of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Marion and Chase Counties.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Saturday. Most of the precipitation will
occur late this afternoon through about 4 AM Saturday. Mainly
light snow is expected during the day on Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Trees, power lines and elevated surfaces
will become ice covered. Below freezing temperatures
will lead to water refreezing on elevated or untreated
roadways.
