An active storm system could unfold with the potential for significant impacts. Vigilance and precautionary measures are advised as some uncertainty remains regarding the extent of the tornado threat and wind damage threat, in addition to the overnight strong (EF2+) tornado potential and inclusion of population centers.
Widespread severe thunderstorms are forecast for tonight capable of damaging winds in excess of 75mph along with strong (EF2+) tornadoes and very large hail (2”+), in addition to heavy rainfall.
