Multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rain are expected to develop tonight and continue through Saturday night.  Total rain amounts in the 2 to 3.5 inch range are likely with some locations exceeding 3.5 inches by the time precipitation ends late Saturday night, especially where thunderstorms occur.  While most of the precipitatation will fall as rain, a transition to freezing rain or sleet could occur Saturday night.

The possibility of high winds and ice could cause power outages.  Make sure your basement is protected and remove any valuables off the floor.  Stay out of standing water and do not attempt to drive through flooded areas.
