The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of December 22 – 28, 2019:        
 
December 22, 2019

• No significant activity.

 
December 23, 2019

• Grand Theft Auto:

Sometime between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., person’s unknown stole a 1994 Nissan Sentra from the 1700 block of Huntington Drive. The vehicle was recovered on 12-25-19 by the Baldwin Park CHP.
 

• Vehicle Burglary:

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on December 22nd and 11:30 a.m. on the 23rd, person’s unknown stole a guitar and cash from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of 1^st street.
 

• Petty Theft Arrest:

Deputies responded to 1600 Mountain Avenue (Wal-Mart), regarding a theft that had occurred. Prior to arrival, deputies detained an adult male at Euclid Avenue and Goodall Avenue, who matched the description of the suspect in the call. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for stealing miscellaneous clothing, a watch and other miscellaneous items totaling $125. All stolen property was returned to the store.  
 
December 24, 2019

• Grand Theft:

At approximately 2:45 a.m., two adult males were observed by security stealing a $10,000 “EZ-Go” golf cart. The suspect’s were last seen driving the cart towards Duarte Road and out of sight.

December 26, 2019

• No significant activity.

      
December 27, 2019

• Vehicle Burglary:

Sometime between 10 p.m. on December 26th and 11:30 a.m. on the 27th, person’s unknown shattered the rear window to a vehicle in the 1000 block of Cotter Avenue and stole $10, a tow hitch, and three tarps from the trunk.
