Synopsis: A 23 year old female was driving a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Eastbound on Rancho Bernardo Road at Meandro Drive. A 71 year old male driving a 2018 Chevy Volt, pulled out in front of the Tacoma, from Meandro Drive. The Tacoma broadsided the Volt. The 71 year old male died from his injuries. The 23 year old female suffered a broken clavicle and coccyx (tailbone). Traffic Division responded to the scene and are investigating the collision.

Synopsis: The suspect entered the 7-11 with a handgun. The clerk, victim had his head down preparing the register for the day. The suspect told the clerk to give him the money and the victim complied. The victim was getting the money from the till when the suspect reached over and took the money out of the register. The suspect left the store, got into a vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. The loss is unknown at this time. The suspect was described as a Black male, 30 years of age, wearing a blue hoodie and jeans. Nobody was injured. Robbery detectives responded to the scene and are investigating the incident.
