The Burlington Township Police Department recently participated in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over 2019 Year End Holiday Crackdown.
Between the dates of December 6, 2019 and January 1, 2020, officers conducted aggressive traffic enforcement and saturation patrols that resulted in 4 alcohol related DWI arrests and over 400 motor vehicle summonses for various offenses. These offenses included, but were not limited to, speeding, driving with a suspended license, careless driving, and use of a electronic device.
Whereas the operational period for this initiative has ended, the Burlington Township Police Department remains committed to improving the safety of our roadways by aggressively enforcing the state’s DWI laws.
