SHERIFF VICTOR HILL’S Tactical Patrol Removes Assault Rifle, Pistol, And Bullet Proof Vest From Drug Dealer

Yesterday, The Sheriff’s Tactical Patrol initiated a traffic stop on Homewood Drive in Jonesboro.  The suspect that was stopped who was identified Dmario Boodie told the Sheriff’s Deputy he had somewhere to be and floored the gas pedal taking off.   Boodie took off to a residence on Homewood Drive and got out of the vehicle becoming combative and subsequently was tazed.

A female identified as Ashley Denn came running out in defense of Boodie leaving her front door open and illegal drugs in plain view.   A search warrant was obtained for the residence and the drugs were seized.  Ashley Denn was taken in custody along with Boodie.

In addition to having drugs in his vehicle, Boodie, who is a convicted felon, was in possession of a Kahr Cw 45 caliber handgun, a AK47 pistol style firearm, and a bullet proof vest designed to stop rifle rounds.  There is a Georgia state law that gives up to 5 years in prison for having a bullet proof vest in the commission of a felony.  Ironically, that bill was authored by Sheriff Victor Hill in 2004 when he served as a State Representatiave for the State of Georgia.

Boodie and Denn are now both facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail known as “The Hill-ton”.
