INCIDENT: HIT AND RUN FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

VICTIM: Female Hispanic Adult approx 50 years old (unknown identification at this time)
On January 3, 2020 at 9:19 PM, Pomona Police responded to an injured person call for service in the roadway at Holt Ave and Short St. When Officers arrived, they located a female Hispanic adult suffering from severe injuries. Evidence at the scene suggests she was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street. Officers checked the area for an involved vehicle, but did not locate one.
The female was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased a few hours later. Police are unable to identify the pedestrian at this time. The suspect vehicle make, model, and color are unknown at this time. However, it will have significant damage to the front bumper area and windshield.
