Deputies arrest David Cuevas of Grand Terrace for attempt murder

SUSPECT(S): David Cuevas, a 24-year-old resident of Grand Terrace

SUMMARY: On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at approximately 5:51 p.m., deputies responded to a shots fired call in the 22000 block of Newport Avenue, in the City of Grand Terrace.
Deputies discovered the suspect, David Cuevas, and the 30-year-old male victim were involved in an argument earlier in the day. At approximately 5:50 p.m., as the victim and his girlfriend drove past Cuevas' residence, Cuevas shot into their vehicle. No injuries resulted from the shooting. Deputies arrested Cuevas for attempted murder and he was booked into Central Detention Center.
