Arrested: Donald R. McClinton, Black male, 39 years old
                Resident of Trenton, NJ 08618
 
DETAILS:  Patrol units responded to a shoplifting in progress at the Wegmans market. The suspect had fled the scene prior to police arrival. Investigation determined the following: A black male suspect loaded a shopping cart full of liquor and fine wine valued at $1,837.67. After pushing the cart out of the store without paying for any of the items in it, store Asset Protection approached the suspect in the parking lot. When Asset Protection attempted to reclaim the cart/merchandise, the suspect resisted and forcibly pulled the cart back, then gestured as if to hit the Asset Protection officer with a bottle. Asset Protection and another store employee backed off, but continued to follow the suspect who then threw bottles of liquor at them. Shortly thereafter, the suspect abandoned the cart and fled. Follow-up investigation by Det. C. Van Ness led to the suspect being identified as Donald McClinton, and on Nov. 26th a warrant was issued for his arrest for the above offenses. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office arrested McClinton on December 6th and turned him over to this agency. McClinton was processed for the above charges and turned over the Lawrence Twp. Police Department on their warrants.

Arrested: Joshua A. Seright, Black male, 20 years old
                Resident of Trenton, NJ 08618
 
DETAILS:  Ptl. Hojnacki was detailed to the Target store for an employee who was being detained for theft. Investigation revealed that on 11/18/19, Joshua Seright, an employee of Target, loaded a gift card with $400, never paid for it, and used it partially to purchase Apple Airpods. Then on 11/20/19, he removed a Motorola headset from its package and put it in his jacket pocket. Seright was also found to have a warrant for his arrest out of Camden. He was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future Court dates at Mercer County Superior Court and Camden.

DETAILS:  Patrol units responded to the Target store for a male being detained for shoplifting. Investigation determined that Shane Padderatz selected a pre-paid Motorola cell phone, ripped it out its package, and then concealed it in his jacket. He was stopped by Assets Protection when he attempted to exit the store. Padderatz was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date in West Windsor Municipal Court.

Arrested: Jeffrey R. Doney, Black male, 31 years old
                Resident of Trenton, NJ 08607
 
DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to the Home Depot for a shoplifting. When they arrived on scene they found that Jeffrey Doney had been detained by Asset Protection. Investigation determined that Doney selected five power tools valued at $625.00, placed the items into a cart, and then exited the store through a back door without paying for any of the items. Doney was also found to have a warrant for his arrest from Lawrence Twp. and two warrants from Trenton. Doney was processed at WWPD Headquarters. He was then transported to the Lawrence Police Department for their warrant.

Arrested: Tahtyannah E. Brown, Black female, 23 years old
                Resident of Ewing, NJ 08618
 
DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to the Target store for four suspects actively shoplifting in the store. Prior to police arrival, one of the suspects had already left the store after concealing articles of clothing in her purse. The other three suspects were still in the store, and when police arrived, they took the concealed items out of their handbags and dropped them. As the suspects exited the store, officers detained them. One of the suspects, Tahtyannah Brown, was found to have four warrants for her arrest; one from West Windsor, and three from Trenton. Brown was taken into custody and found to have store merchandise in her jacket pocket which she did not pay for. Brown was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending future Court dates in West Windsor and Trenton.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Hojnacki was detailed to the Target store for a shoplifter being detained by Assets Protection. Investigation determined that Willie Conway selected $154.97 worth of merchandise, went to the self-checkout, placed the items into shopping bags without paying for them first, and attempted to leave the store. Conway was also found to be a “Wanted Person” out of Mercer County and to have a warrant for his arrest out of Trenton. Conway was processed at WWPD Headquarters and transported to the Mercer County Correction Center.

                Resident of North Brunswick, NJ 08902
 
DETAILS:  Ptl. Robles was detailed to U.S. Route 1 and Washington Rd. for a vehicle stopped in the center lane, with the driver appearing to be unconscious behind the wheel. Officers arrived on scene and were able to wake the driver, Janelle Thompson, who was determined to be DWI. Thompson was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.
