Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose requests the public's help in identifying the below male suspect in an incident of theft from auto that occurred on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., a male broke into a vehicle in the area of 19th Avenue, near South 18th Street, and stole the victim’s personal property. The suspect then used the victim’s debt card at a store on Avon Avenue.

While detectives investigating this incident are actively seeking this suspect, we request the public's help in quickly identifying him as part of this investigation.

Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about this suspect to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
