2020 Scottish Highland Games Parking and Road Closures. January 18 & 19, 2020.
The 2020 Scottish Highland Games will be held at Central Winds Park, located at 1000 Central Winds Parkway, on Saturday, January 18, 2020 & Sunday, January 19, 2020. The event runs from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm on Saturday & 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Sunday.
Starting at 6:00 pm, Thursday, January 16, 2020, access to Central Winds Park will be limited to the Scottish Highland Games only and all park facilities (playgrounds, fields, & pavilions) will be closed. There will be no vehicular traffic permitted around the park as Orange Ave. and Central Winds Parkway will be closed at the park entrance. Residents of Orange Ave. and North Tuskawilla Road will have to exit onto SR 434 using Michael Blake Blvd. or North Tuskawilla Road. The roadways will reopen after the event on Sunday night.
Parking for the event will be at the park itself, the Dog Park, Choices in Learning school, and Winter Springs High School. All are accessible from the intersection of State Road 434 & Central Winds Drive. Despite what navigation systems display, there is no access to the park from Orange Avenue.
On-site parking fills very quickly. If you are arriving after 10:30 am, you will be best served by using the free satellite parking. Satellite parking lots with free shuttle bus services are located at:

Traffic and parking in the area will be greatly impacted. Motorists in the immediate area should expect lengthy delays and heavy congestion during peak hours. Traffic on Tuskawilla Road, State Road 434, State Road 417 and parking in the Town Center area will be affected.
