Subject: Shooting Incident at 1435 Wild Iris St.


On Monday, December 23rd, 2019, investigators from the Sun Prairie Police Department along with members of Madison Police Department SWAT executed two search warrants involving the addresses of 4310 and 4312 Dwight Dr. in the City of Madison in relation to this shooting investigation.

JEFF C. STARKS, 25YO of Madison, was taken into custody and booked into Dane County Jail on one charge of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.

The investigation is still active. More information will be released when it becomes available.

Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

On Sunday December 22, 2019 at approximately 12:22pm the Sun Prairie Police Department received a report of shots fired in front of 1435 Wild Iris Street. Several bullets struck the outside of the house, there were no injuries. It appears as if this was a targeted incident that is currently under investigation. More information will be released when it becomes available.
